Privacy Policy
SenderoGo has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no first-party servers. Your video and audio go only where you send them.

Overview
This policy covers the SenderoGo apps — SenderoGo Mobile for iOS and Android, and SenderoGo Receiver for macOS and Linux — and this website. All are made by SenderoGo ("we", "us").
Plain summary: your video and audio are captured on your phone and received on your own computer. They leave your devices only when you choose to stream, upload, forward, or share them — and only to destinations you configure. We never receive them, and we run no servers that see your data.
The mobile apps
SenderoGo Mobile records and live-streams video from your phone. It requests these permissions, each only to provide a feature you initiate:

The apps do not request access to your photo library, contacts, location, or device identifiers, and use no advertising identifiers — because they do not track you. On iOS, recording and streaming run while the app is on screen; if you switch away, iOS gives the app a short window to safely finish saving.
Recordings are saved to the app's own storage on your phone and are not transmitted anywhere automatically. Settings (server addresses, stream keys, passphrases, upload tokens) are stored on the device — in the iOS Keychain and Android encrypted storage for sensitive values — and are never sent to us.
The desktop receivers
SenderoGo Receiver (macOS) and sdgo (Linux) receive live SRT streams from devices you operate, preview them, and record them to a folder you choose. Streams are processed entirely on your machine.
The receivers make only these network connections:
- Listening for your streams — on the port you configure. The receivers never run open: they refuse to listen until an encryption passphrase is set. The Linux receiver additionally accepts publishers only from your local network by default.
- Forwarding (optional) — only to destinations you configure, only while a rule you created matches.
- Software updates — the Mac app can check a static update feed hosted on GitHub; checks are off until you allow them, and no system profile or usage data is sent. The Linux receiver performs no update checks of its own — updates arrive through your system's normal
aptmechanism.
Receiver settings stay on your machine: passphrases live in the macOS Keychain, or on Linux in a configuration file created with owner-only permissions.
Where your video goes
Your video and audio leave your devices only when you take one of these actions, and only to the destination you chose:
- Stream — to your own SenderoGo Receiver, or to an SRT/RTMP server you configure.
- Upload — to an HTTPS endpoint you configure (the apps reject non-HTTPS endpoints).
- Forward — from your receiver to another server you configure.
- Share — through your phone's share sheet to an app you select, governed by that app's own policy.
There is no SenderoGo backend that any of your data passes through.
What we don't collect
We do not collect, receive, store, or have access to:
- Your video or audio streams or recordings.
- Your server addresses, tokens, stream keys, or passphrases.
- Personal information, accounts, contacts, or location.
- Analytics, usage statistics, crash data, or advertising identifiers.
On the App Store the app is declared as "Data Not Collected", and on Google Play as collecting and sharing no data.
Servers and services you choose
Because streaming, uploading, and forwarding send your data to destinations you configure, those destinations are operated by you or by third parties you select (for example OBS, YouTube, Twitch, or your own server). We have no control over and take no responsibility for how they handle your data — please review their privacy practices.
Tailscale (optional). To reach a receiver outside your local network, we suggest the third-party service Tailscale. SenderoGo does not include or require it, is not affiliated with it, and receives no data through it. If you use it, Tailscale's own privacy policy applies to your use of Tailscale.
Security
- SRT streams to SenderoGo Receiver are encrypted in transit with a passphrase (AES); the receivers refuse to run without one, and a per-publisher passphrase mode with individually revocable entries is available.
- Uploads use HTTPS only.
- Sensitive settings are stored in the platform's secure storage (iOS/macOS Keychain, Android encrypted preferences, owner-only files on Linux).
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but these protections are applied by default.
This website
senderogo.com is a static site. It uses no analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies, and loads no third-party resources — fonts and images are served from this domain. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical server logs (such as IP address and requested page) to operate the service. Downloads and software-update feeds are hosted on GitHub, which receives standard web-request data when you download.
Children's privacy
SenderoGo is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect any information from children. The apps have no accounts and collect no personal data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
